Biskoui can be installed on any website to offer visitors the choice whether to consent or not to the use of third-party profiling services, third-party services hosted outside Switzerland and cookies. Biskoui was designed from the outset to meet the requirements of the Swiss nFADP. Unlike many consent management platforms initially designed for the European GDPR and then subsequently adapted to the Swiss context, biskoui starts from the realities, obligations and practices specific to the Swiss market. This approach makes it possible to offer a more coherent solution for Swiss companies, without unnecessarily imposing mechanisms or choices thought primarily for a European legal framework. Biskoui is a Swiss Made solution certified by Swiss Made Software.

Biskoui is available under a free plan. At biskoui, we are commited to offer a solution to companies of any size while introducing the concept of Privacy by Design. Biskoui is available under 4 different plans: START version: Free, BASIC version: HT 9 CHF / month, PLUS version: HT 29 CHF / month, PRO version: HT 99 CHF / month. Biskoui is your consent data stored and secured in our 100% Swiss sovereign cloud solution. Using biskoui is supporting a swiss entity working toward Switzerland's digital sovereignty. Biskoui offers attractive prices compared to other European or American solutions. Biskoui offers a granular service-level choice to your customers rather than category level. This is to meet the specific selection requirements of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

In all our plan, the biskoui banner can be personalized in the following ways: text, background, border and button colors; fonts with 7 web safe choices or automatic inheritance of your site's fonts; buttons and window radius. In our PLUS and PRO plans you will soon be able to apply your custom CSS code for a pixel perfect integration.

Biskoui supports several languages, depending on the plan you choose. With the BASIC plan, you benefit from the 4 Swiss national languages: German, French, Italian and Romansh. Starting with the PLUS plan, biskoui supports 20 languages: German, French, Italian, Romansh, English, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Greek, Czech, Turkish, Serbian, Swedish, Bulgarian, Japanese and Korean. For reasons of legal comprehension, the banner is displayed first in the language detected by the visitor's browser, when available in the chosen plan. This allows the consent information to be presented in the language most likely to be understood by the user.

In our PLUS and PRO plans we offer PREMIUM support. On top of e-mail support, the PREMIUM support gives you access to our direct support line from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Your support tickets will also be prioritized.

Each time a page is loaded on your site, Biskoui counts one page view. The page view quota is reset to zero every 1st of the month. To avoid unnecessarily consuming your quota, Biskoui ignores page views generated by indexing robots, particularly those of search engines and AI tools. Only relevant visits from real users are taken into account wherever possible.

Consent data, being the most sensitive data managed by biskoui, is stored exclusively at our Swiss hosting company. Our host is a Swiss company with ISO 27001 certification and is not subject to the American CLOUD Act.

Yes, Biskoui is compatible with Google Consent Mode v2 and supports both the Basic Consent Mode and the Advanced Consent Mode. This makes it possible to adapt the behavior of Google services according to the consent choices expressed by the visitor, while maintaining a flexible configuration according to your compliance and measurement needs.

Yes, Biskoui is compatible with Microsoft UET Consent Mode. This makes it possible to adapt the behavior of the Microsoft Advertising UET tag according to the consent choice expressed by the visitor. If the user refuses cookies or advertising tracking, the appropriate consent can be transmitted to Microsoft so that the tag functions in accordance with the user's preferences.

Biskoui allows you to generate a free cookie policy adapted to Swiss requirements. To create your document, simply create a Biskoui account, then go to the "Banner" tab in your administration area. You can choose to host this policy directly with Biskoui or integrate it on your own site, depending on your preferences and organization. The cookie policy is then dynamically updated according to the services configured on your site. For example, if you use a service such as Google Analytics, the document will automatically list the cookies associated with this service, in order to provide clear and up-to-date information to your visitors.

From September 1, 2023, the new Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) comes into force without a grace period. It improves the handling of personal data and grants new rights to Swiss citizens. This important legislative change also brings a number of obligations for companies in the use of profiling services, the vast majority of which make use of cookies, as well as services hosting personal data outside Switzerland.

The duration of a consent is limited to 13 months. Upon consent expiration, the consent will be requested again.

Our consent log keeps consent records we collected as legal proof. Because of this, biskoui stores your consents ad vitam aeternam. Your consent log will be automatically deleted under one of the following conditions: 1. If you downgrade your subscription to a version that does not offer consent log functionality. 2. If you remove your domain from the biskoui administration console. Important note: We offer you the possibility to export the consent log anytime before its deletion.

Not necessarily. A Swiss company must first and foremost comply with the nFADP, i.e. the Swiss Data Protection Act. On the other hand, the GDPR may also apply if your company processes personal data from people located in the European Union, for example if you actively promote your products or services in the European Union. In practice, if your site is aimed solely at the Swiss market, the nFADP is generally the main reference. If your business also targets visitors, prospects or customers in the EU, a GDPR-compatible configuration is recommended. This is available from our PLUS plan.

Biskoui has been designed to help Swiss companies implement the requirements of the nFADP and the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) regarding cookies and similar technologies. Our solution also supports European requirements linked to GDPR and the e-privacy directive where these apply. Biskoui meets these requirements to the full, in particular by enabling: clearly informing visitors about the services used; distinguishing necessary services from services subject to user consent; managing consent on a service-by-service basis; allowing visitors to accept, refuse or modify their consent preferences; taking into account third-party services, including those that may involve data processing or transfer outside Switzerland. Biskoui does not replace a site-specific legal analysis, as obligations depend on the services actually used, the data processed and the target audience. On the other hand, Biskoui provides a technical and organizational basis designed for the Swiss context, to help companies implement more transparent, controlled consent management in line with current FDPIC expectations.

Yes ! Biskoui was developed to integrate on any website technology. How does it work? After creating your domain, you will need to integrate our script on your site. The script is available in the dashboard section. Once the script is installed, refresh your website and the biskoui banner will appear. No, biskoui can be installed on any website. But in order to simplify the installation of biskoui on WordPress, we have built a plugin which makes the setup very easy on your WordPress site.

Really easy. When adding a new service, you will be able to choose your integration mode. For services managed from Google Tag Manager, all you need to do is set up a trigger with the event provided by biskoui, which will be triggered when the user gives consent for the specific service.
